At the River is an Aaron Copland (1900-1990) arrangement of the 1865 American hymn tune by Robert Lowry (1826-1899). This hymn was arranged masterfully by Copland specifically for a solo voice (baritone or mezzo-soprano) and piano in 1952. He also adapted his arrangement for chamber orchestra and vocal soloist, and various choral arrangements have since been made by R. Wilding-White. This arrangement can be played with solo voice and solo guitar.
