Edward Elgar’s iconic piece, Salut d’Amour, was originally written for violin and piano. This arrangement allows any skilled guitarist to accompany a solo instrument playing the beautiful melody—whether it be violin, cello, viola, flute, oboe, clarinet, harmonium, harp, or voice.
Freddy has also arranged this piece for guitar, viola, and cello (available for separate purchase). This version works wonderfully as an encore piece following Paganini’s Terzetto Concertante in D major, MS 114 (Op. 68), which features the exact same, unique chamber instrumentation.
